【嵐山クッキーにまつわるお話し】
2020、2021、2022年と、コロナ禍で、だれもが、どこもが、大変だった時期、嵐山も同様、観光のお客様は、ほぼほぼ皆無で休まず営業しているお店は、ほんのひとにぎりでした。私達も何とか休まず、嵐山にお越しになった方々に少しでもお応えしようと営業を続けたものの、結果的に、地元の方々に多くご利用いただくこととなり、嵐山を支えよう！っと意気込んだつもりが、私達が支えて戴くこととなりました。（そこで、ご利用戴ける御礼にっと、飲み物に添えたクッキーの名が、いつのまにか”嵐山クッキー”と呼ぶようになっていました。） ♨マークに象られたクッキーも、そこから、約２年半の月日が経って、ようやく、お土産の品としてご用意することができました。嵯峨野湯の想い出に、嵐山のお土産に、是非、どうぞ。
A story about Arashiyama cookies…
Last year and the year before, when everyone and everywhere was suffering from the Corona disaster, Arashiyama was no exception, with almost no tourists and only a handful of stores open without a break.
We managed to stay open and respond to those who came to Arashiyama, even if only a little, and as a result, many Arashiyama locals came to visit our stores. We thought we were trying to support Arashiyama, but in fact, we were supported by the people of Arashiyama.
That is also why we started calling our product Arashiyama Cookies. It has been about two and a half years since we started serving ♨Cookies at our café to express our gratitude, and now we are finally able to offer them as a souvenir. Please enjoy them as a souvenir and a reminder of the Saga Arashiyama café.
